In keeping with the rural spirit, here at the Melograno farmhouse we embrace a philosophy of sustainability. In building the house, we chose all kinds of solutions that would enable us to reduce environmental impact: we save energy thanks to our solar system, sustainable outer flooring, double-glazed windows, thermal cladding, roof insulation, walls that have been soundproofed to reduce noise pollution and, finally, the most popular feature for our guests, the organic vegetable garden.

As you will have learned, every aspect of our hospitality is defined by our love for nature. With us, you will be able to experience first hand the joy of being in touch with the land.
During seasonal periods, you are free to pick salad leaves, tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes, cucumbers, fennel, onions, chilli peppers, aromatic herbs and other vegetables from the organic vegetable garden.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy our garden’s fruit plants. Fill yourself up with delicious prunes, apricots, cherries, Sharon fruit, kiwis, peaches and in Autumn…don’t miss out on 5 different types of pomegranate!
You will discover all the beautiful flavours of fruits and vegetables that have ripened slowly throughout the seasons. Soon, you will be able to taste our wines made with resistant ‘Bronner’ grapes, which are not treated with insecticides or chemical products.
Alongside all this, enjoy all the richness of our Mediterranean plant life, including myrtle, cork trees, jujube trees, palm trees, roses, oleander, lavender and Mexican sage. An peaceful oasis that can be enjoyed by young and old alike, especially by the pool.
